Winter Leadership Conference January 9-11, 2019 in Baltimore, Maryland. McClendon
serves on the NAM CMA Board.
Patrick Atagi also attended the UnitedFresh "Fresh Start" Conference January 15-17,
2019 in La Quinta, California. Conference attendees included produce companies,
retailers and food service providers. These important connections enable NWPCA to
participate in ongoing dialogue around food sanitation and wood packaging.
Brent McClendon and Annette Ferri, Vice President Communications, attended the
annual Western Pallet Association meeting January 18-20, 2019 in Rancho Mirage,
California. Brent presented on NWPCA and "Global Strategic Positioning of the
Wood Packaging Industry."
Mark Barford, Sr. Director, Business Partnerships, attended the Indiana Hardwood
Lumber Association Convention & Exposition, February 4-6, 2019 in Indianapolis,
Indiana and met with sawmill executives and industry equipment manufacturers.
