NWPCA PAC Activities
T
he NWPCA "PalletPAC" is very
active in this election cycle and
election year. The PalletPAC
has contributed to Senator Ron Wyden
(D-OR), Representative Dan Newhouse
(R-WA), and Representative Glenn
"GT" Thompson (R-PA). We are also
participating in a series of 'virtual'
meetings and fundraisers. Our most
recent event was on July 29th when
we chaired a fundraiser for Senator
Tammy Duckworth (D-IL). Debra Berry,
Berry Industrial Group, joined in. Senator
Duckworth is a rising star in the Democratic party. We had a private meeting
with just the Senator and a few other key donors before the event began.
It was a great opportunity to continue to build our relationship with the
Senator. Last summer, we met with her at a private lunch at the Democratic
Senatorial Campaign Committee headquarters.
Recently, Howe Wallace, PalletOne, met with Congressman Dan Newhouse,
(R-4th Washington). Congressman Newhouse is on the powerful House Appro-
priations Committee, which will be important for NWPCA moving forward in
2021 on key strategic legislative goals. In-person events with Senator Debbie
Stabenow (D-MI), where Bernie Kamps, Kamps Pallets will represent PalletPAC,
are also on the schedule.
