e Pallet Foundation continues its strategically
focused plan to support the Pallet Design System™ in
R&D and conduct necessary environmental and safety
research. is work, and plans for 2022, represent the
most expansive array of projects in the history of the
Foundation, with the Trustees approving more than
$500,000 in projects for 2022 alone.
Nature's Packaging® remains an essential project
of the Foundation. is initiative experienced a new
branding and website refresh in June. e weekly
blogs have a higher profile with the redesign. All
content was reviewed and reorganized to make
it easier to find the information you need in your
conversations on sustainability.
Driving Forward in Person
While the virtual Membership Week and year-
round webinars were valuable to many, there is no
substitute for gathering in one place with your peers.
Meetings are about more than just sharing the
latest news; they are also about moving the industry
forward. ere was tremendous support for returning
to in-person events. Congressional tours, member
visits, plus two fall conferences
prove their value.
