As Kamps grows, we also understand that our impact on local communities and ecosystems across the country is growing, and our goal is to ensure we can bring a positive impact to all communities we touch. Finding sustainable and efficient outlets for waste streams is the biggest one. As pallet recyclers, we often get corrugated, plastic, and other forms of waste into our facilities. We prioritize supporting our customers' recycling efforts while ensuring our plants run at peak efficiency for our pallet operations. We are also looking into greener power sources, monitoring electricity usage, upgrading lighting, and investing in electric forklifts. Our number one goal in the future is to provide comprehensive, total pallet life-cycle solutions for our customers while lowering our carbon footprint, increasing operations throughput, and decreasing waste generation within each step of the pallet life cycle. Essentially, do more with less and at a faster pace than before. If we succeed, both Kamps and our customers will be in a much better position from an environmental impact standpoint.
