Addressing Phytosanitary Challenges And Strengthening Forest Sustainability Across North America I n November, NWPCA staff members Brad Gething, Jason Ortega, and Hilary Carr along with representatives from the NWPCA Capítulo in México—María José Martínez and Samuel Podlipsky—and Scott Geffros from the Canadian Wood Pallet and Container Association joined industry leaders from across North America in Tucson, Arizona. Brad Gething, who also serves as the US Chair of the North American Plant Protection Organization (NAPPO) Industry Advisory Group, presented updates on critical phytosanitary issues impacting the US industry, spanning forestry and agricultural topics. is meeting focused on advancing safeguarding efforts across North America and included discussions on the wood packaging sector.
