I n 2024, the NWPCA public affairs team worked hard to advance the industry's policy goals by strengthening existing Congressional relationships and building new ones. While most of our focus is on preparing for the new Congress and administration, it's essential to reflect on what we accomplished last year and build on that work to ensure we remain well-positioned to engage on behalf of the industry with key players in the nation's capital. Crucial Face Time With Members Of Congress e highlight of 2024 must certainly be our Congressional Fly-In. In June, over 50 NWPCA members from multiple countries attended our annual fly-in, meeting with Republican and Democrat Members of Congress in the House and Senate. In total, attendees held 36 Hill meetings—including 10 with Members of Congress themselves— and hosted two evening receptions where over a half-dozen Members of Congress were in attendance. is year's fly-in was particularly memorable as we had a record number of attendees who showcased the sector's diversity in terms of geography—with industry representatives hailing from 17 states and four countries—and various- sized operations. e interactions with Members of Congress, including
