Recyclers Council A product-focused council charged with defining and implementing market and profit opportunities for NWPCA members who repair, remanufacture and recycle wooden unit load platforms. In accomplishing this scope and purpose, the council requires and requests assistance from all other NWPCA committees and councils. Chair: Heather Ross, Atlas Pallet Corporation. Standards Committee is committee is dedicated to ensuring the pallet and container industry consistently meets and exceeds quality and safety standards, playing a crucial role in maintaining industry-wide trust and consistency. It is responsible for developing and upholding NWPCA's Voluntary Uniform Standards for wood pallets and containers. Additionally, the committee collaborates with domestic and international standards organizations and interfaces with regulatory agencies to establish " best practice" positions, particularly concerning plant and operational safety. Chair: Ralph Rupert, Millwood Inc. Marketing Committee is committee plays a pivotal role in elevating the industry's public image while effectively communicating the sustainability story of wooden pallets, such as its Nature's Packaging® program. It supports outreach initiatives for members' sales teams' knowledge and external (business to business) audiences, emphasizing the environmental and economic benefits of our industry. e Marketing Committee collaborates with all other committees and councils to advance our sector's reputation and promote associated products and services.
