A Sold-Out Success: PDS Course In
Mexico And Global Opportuni es Ahead
T
he inaugural intermediate Pallet Design System™
(PDS) Course in Mexico, held January 28–30 at the
University of Monterrey, was a sold-out success with over
30 participants in attendance. Organized by NWPCA and
the Capítulo (NWPCA's chapter in Mexico), the course
featured live pallet testing demonstrations at Centro
Abre and provided attendees with in-depth knowledge on
leveraging PDS to design safer, more efficient, and cost-
effective wooden pallets. Expert presenters Brad Gething,
PhD; Kristen DeLack, PE; and consultant Clint Binley
delivered engaging and insightful sessions, marking a
milestone as the first PDS training offered in Mexico.
Building on this momentum, another PDS course
will be held for TIMCON (Timber Packaging and
Pallet Confederation) members in the UK from
April 10–11, 2025, and is already nearly sold out.
