Congressional Fly-In is a great opportunity for you to help
educate elected representatives about the wood packaging
industry.
Visiting your members of Congress has a greater impact than an
email, fax or letter. Face-to-face meetings are the best way to build a
relationship with members of Congress and their staff. Constituents
have the most important voice in Congressional offices, and it is
critical for senators and representatives to hear from us.
To raise our industry's profile and illustrate the significant
economic impact the wood packaging industry has on their
districts, states, and the nation, the lawmakers need to hear from
you. We will also be meeting with senior officials at the Department
of Labor (OSHA) and the Department of Agriculture.
Walking the halls of Congress with your industry colleagues while
advocating for our legislative agenda is not only fulfilling and
important work, it's also fun. This will be the best opportunity we
have as an industry to make our voices heard.
Plan to attend NWPCA's Congressional Fly-In on Tuesday, June
20 (beginning at 8:30 am) and conclude Wednesday, June 21 at
