A few case studies have shown that the strength can be improved by a third or more with the same amount of material in the pallet. In some applications, unit load design could shave 1/8" thickness from all components, stretching our natural resources even further. If there is a change in wood species or deckboard layout, PDS 6.0 can be used to demonstrate the impact of the change on the performance of the packaging.
