Michigan Pallet is a premier pallet supplier that delivers top-quality pallet solutions to businesses throughout the Midwest. Pallet Design Training Connues I n May, NWPCA and the Virginia Tech Center for Packaging and Unit Load Design (CPULD) cohosted a comprehensive wood pallet design course using Pallet Design System™ (PDS) software. !e course was led by NWPCA experts Dr. Brad Gething; Kristen DeLack, PE; and CPULD associate professor Dr. Laszlo Horvath. Nearly two dozen participants, including several remote attendees, beneted from this intensive training. !e course provided in-depth knowledge and practical skills, ensuring participants could implement wood pallet design techniques in their operations. !e next PDS course will be held November 12–14 in Blacksburg, Virginia. !e course will focus on more advanced principles in wood pallet design. NWPCA Call for Board Nominaons Is Open T he call for nominations for the 2025 Board of Directors election is now open, and we need your voice. All members are eligible to submit a nomination or nominate themselves. !is year, we have seven Board seats up for grabs: ve for US industry members, one for an international industry member, and one for an associate member. Submit your nominations by Friday, October 25, 2024. !e Nominating Committee will review all submissions and present the slate of candidates for voting later this year.
