However, we recognize that this issue is timely and understand that we simply cannot wait. We have launched a residuals task force to address this issue. is will enable members to share information and learn from other participants while also serving as an advisory panel to NWPCA staff and consultants as we undertake this project. Ultimately, the challenge of residual management also provides a significant opportunity for the pallet industry. NWPCA is committed to executing a collaborative project that allows our members to develop new ways to manage wood waste, reduce costs, and create value from residuals that were once considered a burden.
