M embers from across the wood packaging industry gathered September 22–23 at the Fairmont Chicago at Millennium Park for the Woodpack Global Fall Plant Tours, two days of plant visits, networking, and expo programming. We would like to express our sincere thanks to our hosts, Chicago Pallet Services and Harvey Pallets, two family-owned companies that make the most of their urban locations through pallet recycling and the production of new and custom pallets. e facilities gave us direct insight into how these businesses have built sustainable operations and kept pace with an evolving industry, and the conversations that began on the plant floor continued during the receptions held at the hotel. We are also very thankful to our exhibitors and sponsors, who ensured that the expo floor remained busy from the welcome reception right through to the final networking event. e association's educational program kept attendees informed about Woodpack Global's activities on members' behalf, covering both progress on existing initiatives and new ones, such as crate design. Additionally, the attendees were given a presentation by the Recycled Pallet Standards Review panel on the draft Premium A Grade specification. For more on that discussion, see our feature elsewhere in this issue. Fall Plant Tours Wrap-Up: Chicago Delivers 2026 FALL PLANT TOUR SPONSORS THANK YOU THANK YOU 2026 FALL PLANT TOUR SPONSORS
