Members are already looking forward to next year's conference, scheduled March 2-4, 2016, at the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel in Orlando, Florida. NWPCA Committees: Plans, Projects and Policy for 2015 Work started early with committee meetings dominating the agenda Wednesday: Recyclers Council, Government Affairs Committee, Science and Technology Advisory Council, and Industry Marketing Committee were just a few of the meetings held in the morning. The newly formed Government Affairs Committee elected a new Chair, Mike Hachtman, president and CEO of reLogistics, and Vice Chair Ben Remmey, strategic project manager at Remmey - The Pallet Company. The Industry Marketing Committee moved forward on the "Nature's Packaging" campaign and will proceed in developing a new logo design in the coming weeks. Frank Shean, president and CEO of Valley Pallets, was elected chair and Glenn Meeks, director of sales and marketing, Bettaway Pallet Systems, was named vice chair of the committee. We thank Bob Wenner, president at Pallet Service Corporation & Grove Wholesale Lumber for his many years of service to NWPCA as committee chair. Committee participation is open to all NWPCA members and is a great way to meet and network with your peers.
