palletcentral.com PalletCentral • September-October 2015 17 with a hardcopy of the PDS printout and/or viewing PDS on a laptop. They can also create a PDF file of the PDS Pallet Specification, Drawings and Analysis Results, and email that to the pallet user. LoadSync™ offers another feature: PDS can create a "viewer" file that includes all of the information provided on a PDS printout. This file can be returned via email to the pallet user that originally emailed the requirements file. The pallet user can open this file in LoadSync™ and will see the full PDS printout view. The program also offers assurances that the pallet manufacturer's designs are not misused by the pallet user once the copyright and intellectual property protections for the PDS design are accepted. Now, packaging engineers, warehouse managers, handling and storage equipment manufacturers, and wood pallet manufacturers can all provide their expertise in a collaborative design process. Best of all, LoadSync™ is available upon request at no cost. More information on LoadSync™, including a newsletter with detailed instructions on using the software, can be found under the "The Pallet Design System™" tab from PalletCentral.com.
