Time and time again, we've witnessed the power of collaboration in areas such as how to design better pallets, advocating for your business, adopting technology-driven manufacturing techniques, or strengthening supply chains. e wood packaging industry's strength lies in the partnerships and relationships that unite it. To build on these opportunities for community and collaboration, NWPCA has established a wide range of membership councils, committees, and mingles. ese initiatives are continually evolving, providing members with several platforms to connect, address challenges, and share best practices and insights. One notable success story is our industry-based initiative in Mexico. Initially formed in 2020 by members responding to the rapid growth of the wood packaging sector, this initiative became an official NWPCA chapter— or Capítulo—in 2022. Today, the Capítulo is led by volunteer leaders María José Martínez (President) and Samuel Podlipsky (Vice President), with dedicated support from NWPCA staff member Hilary Carr, Senior Director for Mexico and LATAM. Every council or committee is guided by an industry thought leader and supported by an NWPCA staff liaison
