NWPCA-AHMI Fall Plant Tours
We want to first and foremost personally thank our
hosts for the NWPCA-AHMI Fall Plant Tours from
October 20-22 in Charlotte, North Carolina: Howe
Wallace, PalletOne; Neal Grimes, Pallet Resource of NC;
Jeff Edwards, Edwards Wood Products; and Robert
Jordan, IV, Jordan Lumber and Supply, for their personal
introductions to all the guests and for their gracious
hospitality. The tours sold-out in early September, and
guests who attended were welcomed to facility tours, and
a packed exhibit hall with evening networking receptions
over two days.
This was the first joint event held with the Appalachian
Hardwood Manufacturers Inc. (AHMI). Nearly 500
people attended the tours from both organizations, and
with many new faces from both industries. Count them
— eight, yes eight full buses of members, sponsors and
