he research projects, scholarships and outreach this past year by The Pallet Foundation were on full display during NWPCA's Annual Leadership Conference (ALC). Nature's Packaging's website launched to tremendous reviews, a newly produced video was greeted by applause, and four Virginia Tech undergraduate students, traveling to the meeting on scholarships from NWPCA, discussed their unit load research to a full room of engaged NWPCA members. As the projects for The Pallet Foundation have increased, so have the contributions. 2015 was a record fundraising year for the Foundation, with a 50% increase in contributions, allowing the Foundation to commit nearly $125,000 to projects. A quick start to 2016 has already shattered last year's record with an incredible $210,000 already raised for the Foundation to date. We are pleased to see a growing number of pledges from the industry.
