See Appendix A.2.3.5. 2.4 Fire Emergency Response Plan Components of an emergency response may include, but are not limited to: Procedures for reporting of fire emergencies – what systems are in place for reporting a fire emergency? (Appendix 2.4.1) Occupant and staff response to emergencies – how are personnel trained to appropriately deal with a fire emergency? (Appendix 2.4.2) Evacuation, relocation and shelter-in-place procedures appropriate to the building, its occupancy, emergencies, and hazards (Appendix 2.4.3) Appropriateness of the use of elevators, if present Design and conduct of fire drills – what is your procedure and how frequent do you hold fire drills?
