We got a lot of ideas from constant communication with other manufacturing industries in our area. For the most part, our employees have been very pleased with these changes we have made and are actually now sharing other ideas they have for improvements and/or changes. Eric Foust President Custom Forest Products When Custom Forest Products (CFP) started a chaplain program (https://mchapusa. com) in the workplace, they saw a lot of positive changes in their employees. Faith has made us a stronger workforce, and we've seen a lot of growth in our employees and a shift in company culture. Before the program, employees lacked trust, and it was a more toxic environment. Bringing in chaplains and faith in the workplace was one of the best decisions made at CFP. CFP got involved in the JumpStart program to help people out of prison. We provide resources to help transition them back into the community and to feel valued and appreciated, including a mentor system. Every morning meeting starts with prayer and we end the meeting with a positive minute. We have a weekly Bible study called "Grow Group" that answers questions about faith. Our Friday morning meeting is an "open mic" meeting where we hear what is going on in team members' lives and that has been very positive, making it a more joyful workplace.
